Originally published in 1744 by Johan Andreas Pfeffel the Elder, from the Scelta di XXIV Vedute delle principali contrade, piazze, chiese, e palazzi della Città di Firenze after Zocchi. Republished in London and hand-coloured, likely by a hand in the studio of Robert Sayer. A preparatory drawing for the print by Zocchi can be found in the Morgan Library, New York (Acc. No. 1952.30:3).
